Nauru’s Government grants refugee status to 19 more asylum seekers including five families (ABC)

Another 19 asylum seekers granted refugee status by Nauru’s Government and released from Australian immigration detention.

A second group of asylum seekers has been granted refugee visas on Nauru and released into the community.

A total of 19 people were granted refugee status by the Nauru Government and four people had their applications knocked back.
