Hieu Van Le came to Australia 36 years ago as a refugee. Now he is about to become the first Asian migrant to rise to the position of governor of South Australia.

Mr Le’s arrival in Australia was a far cry from the manicured lawns of South Australia’s Government House – soon to be his official residence.
